The annual National Student Survey is upon us once again. However, controversy has arisen regarding the introduction of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
This government requirement is brand new for 2017 – the TEF will rank universities as gold, silver or bronze based on what they offer students – with top ranked institutions allowed to raise tuition fees.
This is where the controversy arises, according to the National Union of Students (NUS) – in an ever expensive world of student finance can we really afford to increase fees any further?
Artefact wanted to find out what the students at the London College of Communication knew about the TEF or NSS and whether they were on board with a boycott.
