Endometriosis and PCOS: the unspoken conditions affecting 1-in-10 women in the UK

1 Mins read

Endometriosis and PCOS affect 1 in 10 women in the UK, but despite these significant statistics, there is still no known cause or cure for either condition.

In this episode of Artefact Radio, Molly Cavanagh investigates the unspoken conditions, PCOS and Endometriosis, which affect around one-in-ten women in the UK.

With interviews from Chand Kaur, chair of the UK-based charity PCOS Relief and Jodie Hughes, an Endometriosis care research PhD student and Chair of Trustees at Endometriosis South Coast, we investigate the reasons behind this gender health gap and what is being done to change this.
