Firework displays are the highlight of November 5 – we all know that. Here at Artefact we’ve put together a list of events that’re a little different to ensure an absolutely unforgettable bonfire night this year.

Bonfire Night Match-Making Party

The night’s been described as “a wonderfully eclectic mix of old world elegance and grandeur combined with a very relaxed and contemporary vibe.” Why not take your best suits/cocktail dresses out for a spin and try your hand at speed dating. The night promises a range of both active and interactive activities, including a mini ten minute date with candidates handpicked to suit you best.

Midnight Apothecary

Spend the evening cuddled up around a fire, roasting marshmallows, with the sound of smooth jazz to guide you into a blissful trance. The range of cocktails from Lottie Muir – the Cocktail Gardner – should be reason enough to head down to the Brunel Museum for her once-a-month Midnight Apothecary with a special bonfire night theme to the evening.

Thames Bonfire Night Cruise

Get your sea legs on and head over to Festival Pier, South Bank, for Kings Cruises’ Bangers and Flash Cruise. Enjoy a three–hour–long cruise taking in the sights of London from the river along with a hot buffet dinner, fully licensed cash bar and a spectacular view of the Battersea Park Gardens fireworks.

Bonfire Night Party at Kensington Roof Gardens

A night of fireworks and comedy, hosted by MC and comedian, Chris Fitchew. This might be among the most perfect locations to view the fireworks, with a breath-taking panoramic view of London’s skyline, 100ft above Kensington High Street.
